We grow global forestry assets with a primary focus on wood harvesting, lumber-processing, marketing and sales and provision of timber and lumber products from forests outside China for the growing wood deficit in China. SURINAME

Greenheart Group currently owns 60.4% in one of Suriname's largest natural forest concession with vertically integrated operations and harvesting rights to approximately 184,000 hectares of high quality hardwood. Greenheart Group recently acquired 60% of Vista Marine Services N.V. which harvesting rights to 128,000 hectares of tropical hardwood bringing Greenheart group's total concession and harvesting rights to 312,000 hectares. NEW ZEALAND

Greenheart Group announced on 3rd November 2010 its intentions to acquire a softwood plantation in New Zealand with a net harvestable area of 11,000 hectares. More>>

Greenheart Group's largest shareholder is Sino-Forest Corporation, a leading commercial forestry company with over 700,000 hectares of plantation assets in China. The Greenheart Group is Sino-Forest's acquisition vehicle for high-quality international assets, and with the primary strategy of supplying timber from markets outside China for China. Sino-Forest is listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange with a market capitalization of over US$5 billion. More>>
